Elin Nordegren Steps Out with the Children

  • Dec. 15th, 2009 at 6:30 PM
Trying her best to get back to everyday life, Elin Nordegren was spotted out in Windermere, Florida on Tuesday morning (December 15).

The wife of Tiger Woods was accompanied by her two young children, with the group making their way around their suburban neighborhood to run a few errands.

This happens to be the second sighting of Elin since her golf star hubby’s affair scandal broke - as she was spotted sans wedding ring while out the previous day.

Meanwhile, sources continue to allege that the Swedish beauty is planning on leaving Tiger after the Christmas holidays - which would lead to one of the largest divorce cases in recent memory.

The Year's Most Talked About Weddings

It was a charmed wedding, indeed, when Alyssa Milano (clad in a custom Vera Wang gown and Maria Elena headpiece) said "I do" to agent David Bugliari at his family's New Jersey estate on Aug. 15. Dinner was served family-style on farmhouse tables because, as Milano says, "My Italian family still eats Sunday dinner together every week. We wanted to capture the same feeling with people passing around beautiful bowls of food and talking and laughing."

Kellan Lutz has been hired to fill some very big underwear at Calvin Klein.

Fox411.com has learned exclusively that the "New Moon" hunk has been signed to a modeling contract with the fashion giant, and will be featured in a very familiar ad campaign.

"He’s going to be their new Mark Wahlberg," the insider told Fox411.com. "Kellan has been signed to Calvin Klein for a huge campaign that will feature him in his skivvies all over billboards and in magazines."

That’s right, 17 years later after his ripped abs ad campaign, Marky Mark finally has a worthy stomach-muscled successor.

"True Blood" cast keeps growing

"True Blood" Exclusive: Meet Eric's new plaything

True Blood is giving Eric a new toy.

Actress-model Natasha Alam (The Bold and the Beautiful) is joining the season 3 cast in the potentially recurring role of Yvetta, Eric’s new dancer at Fangtasia, sources confirm to me exclusively.

Eric engages in a sexual relationship with his newest employee, which, if I’m not mistaken, is a flagrant violation of Fangtasia’s super-strict sexual harassment policy. (I made a funny.)

In other True Blood casting news, character actor Gregg Daniel (NYPD Blue, Desperate Housewives) has been tapped to play Reverend Daniels. Tara’s mom turns to the Reverend for, um, comfort. (I made another funny.)

Cirque du Soleil announced Tuesday that its newest resident show, "Viva ELVIS," will begin preview performances Friday at the Aria Resort and Casino at CityCenter in Las Vegas. The show will premiere Feb. 19, 2010.

The show is described as "a harmonious fusion of dance, acrobatics and live music."

Guy Laliberte, founder of Cirque du Soleil, said, "'Viva ELVIS' showcases the raw energy and pure talent of Elvis and highlights the exhilaration and beauty of his music on a grand scale."
It makes perfect sense... )

Nickelback is the top group of the decade, according to Billboard magazine.

Rapper Eminem has been named the top artist of the decade, and 'N Sync garnered the title album of the decade for its bestselling No Strings Attached (2000).

Nickelback was the highest-ranking band of the decade, only finishing behind solo artists Eminem, 50 Cent, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Nelly and Usher, for overall impact and importance.

Despite a distinct lack of critical acclaim, the rock band formed in Hanna, Alberta, has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide. In the last decade, it released The State (2001), Silver Side Up (2001), The Long Road (2003), All the Right Reasons (2005) and Dark Horse (2008), which has garnered them a 2010 Grammy nomination for best hard-rock performance for the track 'Burn It To The Ground'.

"We've just accepted that we're never going to be the critics' darlings, and we're OK with that," frontman Chad Kroeger told Billboard in 2007.

But it's not only music reporters who disagree with Billboard magazine's assertion.

Readers of the U.K.'s Word Magazine recently voted Nickelback the worst band in the world, with Kroeger and company locking down an impressive 20 per cent of the vote. Looks like not everyone is a fan of greasy, bleached hair and enlightening, philosophical song titles such as Something in Your Mouth and S.E.X.

Sample lyrics: "Maybe in the parking lot / Better bring your friend along / Better rock together / Than just one at a time / S is for the simplety / E is for the ecstasy / X is just to mark the spot / 'Cause that's the one you really want."

From top group of the decade to worst band in the world - only Nickelback could be so polarizing.

“It’s relieving,” the Barbadian beauty tells GQ magazine of letting go of the past, “because it was built up for so long, and all these thoughts and emotions have been running through my mind for the past eight months. And now it’s like I finally get to let go and move on.”
